Frequently Asked Questions

Registration

Do I need to be a member of Credit Valley Tennis Club in order to register for programs?
No, you do not need to be a member of Credit Valley to take part in any of our programs, summer camps or private lessons. A small additional fee may apply.
How do I register if the REGISTRATION link does not work?
Just simply send us an e-mail with your request and the program that you are interested in and we will do the rest. You can contact us through the CONTACT US link in the menu bar or send us an e-mail at petya@marinovatennis.com.
How do I know if I am the right level for the programs?
Only basic tennis skills are required for most of our programs except for the Adult Doubles Stategy Clinic and the High Performance Junior Program. If you are still unsure, please contact us and we will help you figure out the right program for you.

Cancellation

What if i need to cancel a lesson?
We require 24 hours notice for cancelling a lesson.
How do we know if our lesson is cancelled due to rain?

Please check our webiste to find out if the courts are closed on our weather link at the bottom of our home page. Alternatively you can also call us as we update our voicemail regularly at (905)896-2629.

Stringing Info

How often should I restring my racquet?
If you only play during the summer, you should restring your racquet at the begining of each season.

If you play all year round, you should try to restring your racquet at least once a year.

What is the right tention for me?
A lower tention will give you more power as the strings give a trampoline like effect.

A tighter tention will give you less power but more control as it is less forgiving.
